Watch this video over on sf streetsblog where Mikael Colville-Andersen of Copenhagen Cycle Chic and Copenhagenize discusses all the features CPH has incorporated for bicyclists. I love that they are aiming for 50% of all commuters to use bicycles by 2015. They are well on their way, and serve as an example to urbanites everywhere.

We had a chance to spend time with Mikael on October 30th, when he was in town for a talk at Spur. He had a chance to do halloween critical mass, as well as dine on ethiopian food and have a margarita while listening to a mariachi band. Saw this while on a dog walk in the hills above the Castro, the bike had string lights all along the frame. I’ll have to remember to walk past there at night sometime and see if it’s lit up.

Hambone Designs will be present at two holiday craft fairs in San Francisco this December.
First up is Handmade Ho-Down Thursday December 3rd at 1015 Folsom from 6pm to midnight.
The second is Renegade Craft Fair at Fort Mason Saturday and Sunday December 19th and 20th. We’re very excited about being accepted into this huge fair, and always have fun wandering the aisles ourselves. Come on down and get some holiday presents for the bike riders in your life!

I’m loving these reflective tweed creations by London based Dashing Tweeds Gotta get my hands on some of these legwarmers!
