Watch this video over on sf streetsblog where Mikael Colville-Andersen of Copenhagen Cycle Chic and Copenhagenize discusses all the features CPH has incorporated for bicyclists. I love that they are aiming for 50% of all commuters to use bicycles by 2015. They are well on their way, and serve as an example to urbanites everywhere.

We had a chance to spend time with Mikael on October 30th, when he was in town for a talk at Spur. He had a chance to do halloween critical mass, as well as dine on ethiopian food and have a margarita while listening to a mariachi band. That is a pretty perfect introduction to San Francisco as far as I'm concerned. This is a photo of Calitexican of Change Your Life, Ride a Bike with Mikael (pre-margaritas)

Bicycle as home decor, originally uploaded by *Honeychild*.

Saw this while on a dog walk in the hills above the Castro, the bike had string lights all along the frame. I'll have to remember to walk past there at night sometime and see if it's lit up.
